The long anticipated arrival of the Hawaii Superferry has not even started service yet, but prices have already gone up 30.8 percent due to a tacked on fuel surcharge.
The Superferry marketing execs are trying to push the total new experience of traveling by water, and being able to bring your own vehicle or bulky items, but unless you are planning on staying on a different island for a week, it is probably cheaper, and a whole lot faster to travel by air.
