Largest Mango in the World Found In Hawaii

The world's largest mango in the world was grown on the Big Island of Hawaii according to the Guiness Book of World Records. Collen Porter of Kailua-Kona grew the world's heaviest mango weighing in at a whopping 5 pounds 7 ounces. As for the size, it is about the size of a human head. (Click on photo to enlarge.) I grew up with over a dozen different varieties of mango trees in our yard. I have never seen one that big, but one was big enough that it dropped and broke the windshield on our family's car!
