This is a great fresh pineapple pie recipe. Not including the pineapple, you probably have all of the basic ingredients in your kitchen. You could substitute with canned pineapple but it doesn't quite taste the same. Hawaiian Fresh Pineapple Pie Dessert Recipe

2 Pastry Crust for 9" Pie (frozen and thawed, or freshly made)
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/3 Cup flour
3 Eggs
2 Cups fresh shredded Hawaiian pineapples, drained
1 teaspoon Cinnamon (optional)
2 Tablespoons Butter

Prepare pastry for one double crust 9 inch pie. Blend sugar and flour together. Beat eggs slightly, and combine with sugar and flour mixture. Add shredded pineapples and cinnamon, stir well and pour into unbaked pie shell. Dot with butter, cover with top crust and crimp all around. Prick top crust to let the steam out when baking.

Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake for additional 35 minutes or until crust is brown.
