Hawaiian Papaya Seed Dressing and Marinade Recipe
Get your money's worth and health worth from your fresh Hawaiian papaya fruits. After consuming the papaya fruit, don't throw the seeds away! Save the papaya seeds to make my delicious and easy recipe for Hawaiian papaya seed dressing and marinade.
Hawaiian Papaya Seed Dressing and Marinade Recipe
Seeds of 1 papaya (but you can use less, fresh or dried seeds)
1/4 cup lime juice (substitute with wine vinegar)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup macadamia nut oil (substitute with salad oil)
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. dried onion flakes (optional)
sugar to taste (optional)
Using your blender, add all of the ingredients except the papaya seeds and blend thoroughly. Add papaya seeds and blend until papaya seeds are about the size of coarsely ground pepper.
You can use this as a marinade for meat or tofu. Marinate for 45 minutes.
